Licensing

Software Licensing is based on a defined 'Named Technician' model. Unlike other products in the market we do not charge additional fees for a server application license. You only pay for the number of user licenses you need relevant to the edition you require.

Technicians (individuals specifically identified through the application) are granted permission to use the application - typically these people are the likes of Case Managers, Help Desk technicians, sales consultants, or anyone who needs to use the application as part of their day-to-day activities.

Your end users, customers, or requestors do not require a license. There is no limit to the number of requests that can be logged in the system. Think of this licensing model like Microsoft Outlook - you need a license to use the application, but anyone can send you an email, and they don't need a license to do so.

A valid installation is defined as: One database instance of the application database and one installation of the application on a single server. Should you require more than one instance of the database and/or application additional fees are required.

Upgrades

versaSRS minor and major upgrades are made available free to customers (along with any associated license key) who have current and valid Annual Software Support & Upgrade Insurance. This may not include new feature set modules.

If Annual Software Support & Upgrade Insurance has lapsed, or is not taken out after the first year of purchase, any new major upgrade will need to purchased again.
