Assigning Watchers

Anyone with an email address can be a Watcher in versaSRS and receive the Watcher Notifications. The following information describes how to assign Watchers to each of the Watcher Types.

Team Watchers

Team Watchers are added at the Team level within the Team Settings. To assign a Watcher as a Team Watcher, open the Team Settings, select a Team and click the Watchers button.

The email addresses of the Watchers can then be added to the Team Watchers screen.

Skill Group Watchers

Skill Group Watchers are added at the Team level within the Team Settings. To assign a Watcher to a Skill Group within a Team, open the Team Settings and select the Skill Groups button.

On the Manage Team Skill Groups screen select a Skill Group that has been assigned to the Team and then click the Watchers button.

The email addresses of the Watchers can then be added to the Skill Group Watchers screen.

Case Watchers

Case Watchers are added directly to a Case, Problem, or RFC. To assign a Watcher to an existing Record, open the record and click the Watchers Icon ().

The email addresses of the Watchers can then be added to the Case Watchers screen.

New Case Watchers

New Case Watchers are added at the Team level within the Team Settings. To assign a Watcher as a New Case Watcher of a Team, open the Team Settings, select a Team and click the New Case Watchers button.

The email addresses of the Watchers can then be added to the Case Watchers screen.
