Overview
Reminder messages can be set for Cases that will notify the Case Owner or the entire Team. To set a Reminder, right click on a Case listing and select Set Reminders ... >> 'For User' or 'For Team'.
This will open the Manage Announcements window where the Reminder details can be entered as well as the start/end dates for the Reminder notification and publishing options.
The Details tab of an Announcement contains the following fields/properties:
Field/Property | Description |
---|---|
ID | A unique identifier assigned by versaSRS when the Announcement is saved. This is only visible within the Manage Announcements window by clicking the Open icon () |
Title | A title for the Announcement, specified by the User |
Message | The message to be shown to the Users in versaSRS |
Default Reminder | Drop-down list of values allowing the User to set when the Announcement should display to Users |
Enforce Reminder | Prevents versaSRS Users from permanently dismissing the alert message. For example if you have set the alert to show every two days the User cannot disable these alerts |
Reminder Start | The date and time the Announcement message alert will start displaying within versaSRS |
Schedule Start | The date and time the task or event the Announcement is for will start |
Reminder End | The date and time the Announcement message alert will stop displaying within versaSRS regardless of which Users have seen it |
Schedule Start | The date and time the task or event the Announcement is for will end |
Date Entered | The date the Announcement was created in versaSRS |
Last Updated | The most recent date the Announcement was edited |
Active | A checkbox controlling whether this Announcement is published and will alert in versaSRS |
