Tag Routing Rules

Tag Routing Rules allow Cases and Tasks to be created and logged automatically via email. Tags can be setup and defined within versaSRS, then when placed within the body of an email versaSRS will read the assigned tags and create Cases with Tasks at time of logging the request. This automates creating Tasks individually.
The tags can be used to define a process that exists and the tasks associated with the Case and create them automatically.

Tag Routing Rules can be managed by selecting the Tag Routing Rules icon from the Administration Panel under the System Tools tab.

To create a new Tag Routing Rule enter an appropriate name and ensure the 'Apply Rule' checkbox is ticked. This will ensure that the tag is enabled within versaSRS. The Send Open Confirmation can be ticked should you want to send a confirmation. A Case Tag can be defined in the 'Case Tag' field and a Case Template needs to be selected.

Under the 'Task List' tab the Task tags can be defined. In order to do this a Task Template needs to be selected and the Task Details Start and Task Details End tags can be defined. The Repeater Start and Repeater End fields allow the Repeater tags to be created. The Repeater tags are used to specify an area within an email to display the information between these tags on all Tasks defined in the Case. The relative time sets the log time of the Task relative to either the Task logged date or Parent (Case) due date.

The example screenshots show what a Tag Routing Rule may look like when complete.

The above rule could be implemented via email as per the example below.
